GoGetMe – Customer Terms and Conditions

Welcome to GoGetMe! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of our mobile app, website, and services (the “Platform”) as a customer in the United Kingdom. By accessing or using GoGetMe, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read them carefully before placing an order.


1. Who We Are

GoGetMe is a platform that enables customers to place food, grocery, and product orders from participating restaurants, stores, and merchants (“Merchants”) for delivery or collection.

We act as a disclosed agent for Merchants in facilitating and processing orders, but the contract for the sale of goods is between you and the Merchant.


2. Your Use of GoGetMe

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

2.2 You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information

  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

2.3 You must not misuse the Platform, including by attempting unauthorised access, introducing viruses, scraping content, or interfering with our systems.


3. Placing Orders

3.1 When you place an order, you enter a contract with the relevant Merchant. GoGetMe acts as their agent to process orders and facilitate payment.

3.2 Orders are subject to:

  • Availability of items

  • Merchant acceptance

  • Delivery radius and time slots

3.3 Once you place an order, you may receive a confirmation, but this does not guarantee acceptance. The Merchant has the right to cancel or amend an order, and you will be refunded accordingly.


4. Prices and Payment

4.1 Prices include VAT (where applicable) and may include:

  • Delivery fees

  • Small order fees

  • Service charges

These are clearly displayed before checkout.

4.2 Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment provider. You must ensure your payment method is valid at the time of ordering.

4.3 Promotional offers may be subject to additional terms and may be withdrawn at any time.


5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 You can cancel an order only if the Merchant has not yet started preparing it.

5.2 If you cancel after preparation has begun or the delivery is already en route, you may not be entitled to a refund.

5.3 If there is an issue with your order (e.g. missing, cold, or incorrect items), please contact us via the app or at [email protected]. We may offer a refund or partial credit at our discretion.

5.4 All refunds are processed via your original payment method and may take up to 5 business days.


6. Delivery

6.1 Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or Merchant delays.

6.2 You must be present at the delivery location provided, and reachable via phone.

6.3 If you are unreachable or unavailable when the delivery arrives, your order may be cancelled without refund.

6.4 Our delivery partners are independent contractors and not employees of GoGetMe.


7. Allergens and Dietary Information

7.1 Merchants are responsible for listing ingredients and allergen information.

7.2 If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, you must contact the Merchant directly before placing your order.

7.3 GoGetMe does not guarantee that any items are allergen-free.


8. User Conduct and Account Termination

8.1 You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or mistreat drivers, staff, or customer service

  • Provide false complaints or reviews

  • Misuse refunds or promotions

8.2 GoGetMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice for serious breaches of these Terms.


9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, software, and designs, is owned by GoGetMe or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part without permission.


10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 GoGetMe is not responsible for:

  • The quality, freshness, or safety of food/items provided by Merchants

  • Delays or failures in delivery due to events outside our control

  • Losses that are indirect or unforeseeable

10.2 Our liability to you is limited to the value of your order, unless otherwise required by law.


11. Your Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please see our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your data.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be notified via the app or email. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.


13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
